Mission of Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox

Mission Statement:

To preserve the historic Theater and create a regional center for the performing arts which will provide a mid-sized venue for the Inland Northwest, showcasing local, regional, and national cultural, educational and entertainment events, and serve as the permanent home for the Spokane Symphony.

Vision Statement:

• Foster an environment that awakens, entertains, educates, and challenges the audiences of the Inland Northwest region.  
• Be the home of the Spokane Symphony. 
• Encourage the development and collaboration of community performing arts organizations and assist persons of all ages, cultures and economic backgrounds to explore their creative and artistic possibilities. 
• Enrich and connect education and family experiences through performing arts resulting in increased enjoyment and life-long participation in the arts. 
• Serve as a social and cultural meeting place for families and residents of the Inland Northwest region and visitors with diverse economic and cultural backgrounds. 
• Enhance downtown Spokane and the Davenport Arts District as a cultural center, generating economic benefits for the city and surrounding communities. 

Goal Statement:

The Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox will provide state-of-the art technology, superior customer service, and quality events that will inspire audiences, and invite clients to return for encore experiences.
